About Me

My name is Clara Russell and I’m a senior at heritage. Photography was only introduced to me last year, but I have loved to take pictures ever since I could remember. I like to mess with them and see what I can do to them. My photos are not really based on anything except that you can probably see the type of person I am when you view them. This is my photography.

Artist Statement

Photography is the unknown art of the viewing mind. It’s mysterious ways of sculpturing your thoughts makes a different kind of perspective or view of the real world. Keeping that in mind, there is only one way to make a true moment last for an eternal memory.  And when I stand outside with the seeing of the naked eye, on this empty earth, I see it as a hole. But when I step outside seeing through clear lens, I see something that only my mind could picture. That’s the beauty of photography.              – Clara Russell
